I’ve known Sentro 1771 since I was in High School but I wasn’t able to try their Restaurant because of my busy schedule. Last Saturday I was given the chance to Visit their branch in Serendra to do some food review and of course taste their famous Corned beef sinigang!

The place is filled by families and group of friends chatting; the tables are very near apart which made the place noisy well at least I can still hear my partner talking.

The female attendant with huge nose that serviced us is not that courteous, she leaves our table without even letting us finish our words, and all she did was chatting and giggling with her male co-attendants ---Very annoying! They should fire her!

While waiting for our orders, I took some pictures Inside Sentro:
Huge Painting will be seen on their walls, Painting represents Filipino culture and Family Values.

 Meet Ronnie...

 Bored while waiting...

Their Specialties were written in Red Board just in case you dunno what to order..

You can see their Kitchen from your tables... Busy Chefs inside...

Anyway, the foods are great and here are some of them:

Tokwa’t Belly P270

A tokwa’t baboy effect for non-pork eaters! Deep Fried bangus belly and tofu cubes in a distinctive vinegar soy dressing with minced onions.

SINIGANG NA CORNED BEEF P420

This is their house specialty…A brilliant Food!
Many may have thought that the corned beef used are the usual canned goods we often get from our kitchen cabinets every time we're hungry & too lazy to cook...I'll be a spoiler here... it's NOT! Indeed the beef taste like the canned ones but it's different, you'll see from the image above the the beef slices are tender and Huge chunks which means the beef used came from FLESH and not preserved which is good Because Preservatives are big NO-NO to anyone's health!

 GARLICKY ADOBO P380

Adobo mix of pork and beef with toasted garlic and tinged with annatto seeds
Not your ordinary adobo! --A must-try!

SAGO'T GULAMAN P110
Bottomless. It's made from scratch! The 2nd to the best Sago't Gulaman I ever tasted!

TIP TIP TIP!!!
For starters I recommend you to try Fried Kesong Puti P250
It's like cheese pops served with sweet chili guava sauce and garlic dip
