Kulinarya Kitchen @ Rockwell

KULINARYA KITCHEN
Location: level 1 Rockwell Drive Corner Estrella Street Rockwell Center, Makati

Thank you to Typhoon Falcon and I discovered this Place. It is my routine to go to Makati either in Glorietta or Greenbelt every time it rains. I don’t know why but it gives me a comfortable feeling to roam around Makati and feel the rain as it pours. Feeling unease that day for comfort foods, Ronnie and I struggled to look for a restaurant that will cater the food our starving stomach asks. We went to Tiendesitas, Podium, no people and no “food”, gone to Robinsons Galleria then EDSA Shangri-La, and still we rejected everything. So he immediately suggested going to Rockwell. With Heavy rain, bumper to bumper traffic and impatience growing made us even hungry!

At last! We immediately went to level 1 (where restaurants are located) and looked for everything. So finally after long trip, we sat down at Kulinarya. The place is very relaxing, perfect for rainy day. The foods are comforting and the price is affordable, they’re based on the harmonious combination of ingredients and cooking techniques of Asia and Europe. There are a lot of great foods to choose from but I chose to have their all-day breakfast.

I managed to take some pictures while waiting for our orders...

Thank God they serve our foods after 10minutes...

 I’m starving to death!

Callios P250

Yummy…Perfect with Garlic French bread. But they serve it with rice.

Italian Garlic Sausage Pizza P295
Tastes like that of Amici’s Spinachi

Kulinarya Fruit Punch
Very Refreshing! I shall make top10 refreshing drinks again! This will be included!

One of their all-day Breakfast (Forgot the Name)
My comfort food! Looking forward to have this again soon. Probably next week?

The attendants are courteous and well-mannered.
1 piece of advice to them? Wipe your chairs well, especially the white couch. But overall, Kulinarya is one of the best restaurant I ever Tasted!

MeiDolls Café

Saunterfield (2nd Floor), Km.20 Ortigas Avenue Extension, Cainta, Rizal
(It is the orange building after SEA OIL and BALIWAG, across BROOKSIDE SUBD. and RUBLOU Marketplace)

I accidentally discovered the place after searching for new restaurants to visit, and I eagerly wanted to go at once since I love cosplay and anime.

MeiDolls Café is Manila's premiere maid/cosplay cafe owned and managed by Reia Ayunan (I heard she’s also into cosplaying).

The Place: Small but cute. I hope they’ll find new location since they’ll need additional chairs after being featured from different network programs. I like the traditional Japanese dining table and chairs, I also hoped that they’ll put bigger/cooler air condition unit and put some (pink) curtains since their place is on second floor, it is uncomfortable eating with scorching sunlight touching your face. The Café is also said to be cosplayers tambayan. (I'm planning to have my 22nd birthday celebrate on their place...what do you think?)
 Lanterns all over...=)

This part needs to be fixed...

The Attendants: All of them are cute! I love their costume, hair and BOOTS!!!

They’ll really treat you as their master. Every time you’ll call them or go to your table, they will greet you “Hi Hi...” with cute small anime voice =) they’ll also call you “master” instead of the regular “Ma’am or Sir”. After putting your orders on your table, they will asked for your hand and spritz some alcohol/ hand sanitizer

And before you eat your food, they’ll give you their chant for you to enjoy your meal more...
 "POWER UP!!!"

The foods:  They got few food choices...and here are some of what we ordered:

Peppermint Ice tea P55
Tastes like Colgate toothpaste dissolve in cold water.

Lasagna P110
I love the taste. Yummy!
if it’ll be your first time to visit the place, I recommend that you order for lasagna

Banana-Mango Smoothie P80
A Must-try. Refreshing.

MeiDoll Ramen P80
Good For 2-3 person.
❤ it!

Mango Juice P50
Love it with my lasagna, with real mango tidbits

MeiDoll Gyudon P110
Shoti said: "7/10 rating"

MeiDoll's Menu

They Also gave us some Dance Numbers....Very Cute!

I'll go back to that place again, because it made me feel that I was on a different planet.

The Old Vine Grille-Eastwood City, Libis

G/F Eastwood Mall Veranda, Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City

'706-5573 / 706-5574 (Phone)

The best thing being into blogging is knowing where the best foods are.

Eastwood City is the nearest “gimmick” place from our home, and Last Rainy Thursday; I craved for soup and chocolate cake. While walking and reviewing the restaurants I like, we came across The Old Vine Grille. I know the place caters good food, but I haven’t tried dinning there after reading so many “slow service” concerns from some blogs. I hesitated coz that time I’m so hungry and I’m afraid that my orders will be served within 2 hours, but I told myself this is one of the best resto and I must try, besides, that night, only few people where dinning inside so maybe my foods will be served on time.

So we walked in and the waiter headed us to the couch (I love having my food on couch because it makes me feel comfortable while savoring the foods I eat). Immediately they handed their menu, foods are on medium price, not too costly, just right. You can treat your friends here if you’re on a group of 4 to 8. Prepare your wallet or credit card if you’ll be treating a huge crowd.

"I love having my food on couch because it makes me feel comfortable while savoring the foods I eat."

What just disappoints me is that they have limited food options. Anyhow, we ordered for Beef steak (Pinoy style), cream of mushroom soup, and their Risotto Rice—Yummiest fried rice ever!!! And they served it on our table on time.

 Lime Juice
Nothing Special.

 Food Heater

 Butter for your Bread

 Cream of Mushroom Soup
The Real reason why I did not finished this whole bowl? It's Salty and the flavor is too strong.

 Complimentary Bread
Soft... Perfect with Butter.

 Risotto Rice
Very Yummy! If I'm not on diet, I can eat 4 cups!

Pinoy Style Beef Steak
First bite: "Something's missing...It's not perfect." So i put some soy sauce and it became Delicioso!

Their serving sizes are big and the dishes are well presented. The waiters are great! They serve us with smile and know how to make costumer rapport. Very courteous, that they even stop fixing/ placing things on our tables whenever I have my pictures taken or I’m taking pictures.

One of the attendants even asked me what’s wrong with my soup since I did not finished the whole soup bowl; I just said “It’s not you, it’s me.” Hahaha! =)

I love the place! Very clean with European Ambiance, Nice service, Great Cuisine, and that makes The Old Vine Grille as my new favorite restaurant.
