It was a week ago when I checked my Facebook Profile, Apparently on the “TOP NEWS” Tab, One of my friends had a status saying “You’ll miss out your entire life if you’ll never try BON CHON.” So I googled “BON CHON” at once and then I saw the “chicken” word right after and right then I told to myself that I need to eat there! After couple of hours while heading to Shangri-la to buy some cosmetics, I got delighted seeing a BON CHON branch in Libis! (We always take that route whenever we go to Ortigas or Makati… shortcut eh!)

Last Saturday, without any hesitations we visit Bon Chon Acropolis to try their famous Chicken. It’s raining hard but there are a lot of people inside, good thing we still got our seats.
The crowd is mostly Chinese. The place is clean with modern ornaments. Bon Chon's ambiance feels like a classier fast food setup / quick self-service restaurant where you order at the counter and wait for your food to be served at the table. But since we’re lazy and Bossy ^^, we asked one of the attendants to have our orders taken. All the attendants by the way are accommodating, courteous and very attentive, they also move fast!

So while waiting for our orders, as usual, i took some pictures inside...
 They got branches on those places...Thank God they put a branch near our home...

 Bon Chon's crispy but non-greasy chicken has been featured in the New York Times...

the chicken  fried twice, which takes the fat out on the first fry and makes the skin very light and crispy on the second. I say, it's sinful! Because as I was eating my first BonChon Drumstick, I was already dreaming of chicken skin chips to snack on while watching TV partnered with Tazo Brambleberry! The   skin gives the taste. It's very crispy. We love it!


Kimchi Coleslaw P45
Perfect siding! I'm not a fan of Kimchi but this one is yummy!

Just OK. Nothing special.


Calamari P125
The best calamari I ever tasted! (Sorry Calamares House, You’re down to #2 slot). The oil used is new, hindi malangsa and Oily, perfect with beer!
