It was year 2009 when I first ate at Outback for lunch, dinning there with other western and northern costumers makes me feel that I’m not in the Philippines. After 2 years, I decided to eat there with Ronnie Curiano for dinner to full our hungry stomach. We visited libis branch, the place is dark and cold, maybe because there are only 5 tables with costumers. So feeling ko talaga, para akong nasa haunted house. There are lots of food choices and they’re pricey! But it’s worth the taste.
On the left side of the main door, there’s a kiddie corner where children can play or draw while waiting for the orders to be served. It’s a great idea since children having so much “id” are impatient.
We waited for 10minutes for our orders; the attendants are courteous and very well mannered.

COMPLIMENTARY BREAD
This is the Yummiest bread I ever tasted! Wondering where the hell can i buy these? It's perfect for breakfast!

 CRISPY CHICKEN SALAD P449
Fried Chicken fingers served over mixed lettuc, tomatoes, cheese, bacon, diced eggs, croutons and Your choice of dessing.
we chose blue cheese as our dressing. Good for 2 to 3 persons, Tasty and will really feed your appetite.

KOOKABURRA WINGS Full P449; Half P259
Chicken wings tossed in savory blend of secret spices paired with cool creamy blue cheese dip and celery.
Chicken flavors varied from mild, medium and hot
4.5 out of 5---says Ronnie

MANGO MARTINI P275
Throat Striker...a bit hard says Ronnie

SPARLING CITRUS COOLER P165
Just right.
stuffs inside outback...

 Looks like a portal eh?

The Old Vine Grille-Eastwood City, Libis

G/F Eastwood Mall Veranda, Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City

'706-5573 / 706-5574 (Phone)

The best thing being into blogging is knowing where the best foods are.

Eastwood City is the nearest “gimmick” place from our home, and Last Rainy Thursday; I craved for soup and chocolate cake. While walking and reviewing the restaurants I like, we came across The Old Vine Grille. I know the place caters good food, but I haven’t tried dinning there after reading so many “slow service” concerns from some blogs. I hesitated coz that time I’m so hungry and I’m afraid that my orders will be served within 2 hours, but I told myself this is one of the best resto and I must try, besides, that night, only few people where dinning inside so maybe my foods will be served on time.

So we walked in and the waiter headed us to the couch (I love having my food on couch because it makes me feel comfortable while savoring the foods I eat). Immediately they handed their menu, foods are on medium price, not too costly, just right. You can treat your friends here if you’re on a group of 4 to 8. Prepare your wallet or credit card if you’ll be treating a huge crowd.

"I love having my food on couch because it makes me feel comfortable while savoring the foods I eat."

What just disappoints me is that they have limited food options. Anyhow, we ordered for Beef steak (Pinoy style), cream of mushroom soup, and their Risotto Rice—Yummiest fried rice ever!!! And they served it on our table on time.

 Lime Juice
Nothing Special.

 Food Heater

 Butter for your Bread

 Cream of Mushroom Soup
The Real reason why I did not finished this whole bowl? It's Salty and the flavor is too strong.

 Complimentary Bread
Soft... Perfect with Butter.

 Risotto Rice
Very Yummy! If I'm not on diet, I can eat 4 cups!

Pinoy Style Beef Steak
First bite: "Something's missing...It's not perfect." So i put some soy sauce and it became Delicioso!

Their serving sizes are big and the dishes are well presented. The waiters are great! They serve us with smile and know how to make costumer rapport. Very courteous, that they even stop fixing/ placing things on our tables whenever I have my pictures taken or I’m taking pictures.

One of the attendants even asked me what’s wrong with my soup since I did not finished the whole soup bowl; I just said “It’s not you, it’s me.” Hahaha! =)

I love the place! Very clean with European Ambiance, Nice service, Great Cuisine, and that makes The Old Vine Grille as my new favorite restaurant.

Crisostomo Restaurant--Eastwood City

2/F Eastwood Mall Veranda, E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave., Bagumbayan, Libis
Quezon City, Metro Manila
Philippines

Creating a new group of friends is like creating a new story in a fairytale book. It has been 5 years since I last saw one of my friends and so we decided to go out to catch up on some things we missed.

Since he loves sisig, I decided to search for a fine restaurant that caters Filipino cuisine in Eastwood; unluckily I only ended up to 2 choices. Since I got late in meeting them, we chose the nearest restaurant, supposedly Cyma, but as we headed there, we passed through Crisostomo’s, and I said to them that the resto serves Sisig.

The Filipino-Western Interior fusion gives me a homey vibe. The place is clean. The only problem I had with them is poor service, we need to call the server twice or thrice before he cater our needs.

The price are affordable, the food is delicious but nothing special.

The verdict? I don’t mind visiting the restaurant again but I’ll try other restos since I got lots of option.
