I often passed by White Plains every time I go home from South, Makati or Ortigas (It’s the short-cut) heading towards our home, one traffic afternoon, I noticed this very cute upside down house, and I asked myself why the hell did I just noticed this awesome place? And the answer is, I’m either sleeping or talking to someone over the phone.

Last Tuesday, I was able to visit 1 of their branches hearing from my boss that their Pandesal are the best.

I had my picture taken outside the cute upside-down constructed “country-like” house.

As soon as I enter the resto, I was amazed because of its romantic, garden interior.

The waiter handed us the menu...

Foods are affordable or should I say cheap.

While waiting for our orders to be served, I took some pictures inside...

Dining Table Placed upside down just above us...CUTE.

 Upside down attic window

Good thing the plants were not placed upside-down as well. Just imagine the possibility of worms dropping on your foods…EWWW!

Windy Afternoon+ Romantic Ambiance + Kris Aquino’s CD playing while eating my merienda = PERFECT AFTERNOON TO SPEND WITH SOMEONE SPECIAL.

Got so fascinated by the piano…Sorry! I’m a music Lover.

The waiter said that in pasta, the best seller is their palabok. But I don't like it, I did not even finished my plate.
Tuna Stuffed Pandesal P25
"YUMMY."

What just made me unease is being with a celebrity beside me making out…Get a room Booba!

Before heading home, I had 20pcs of their whole wheat pandesal to go...I love their pandesal and I swear not to buy any other pandesal except 1950s.

Delighted by the foods they served, I finally decided to put a review about this Restaurant. Tokyo Cafe is the only Japanese-Style family restaurant that offers Western dishes with distinct Japanese touch.

Every time I passed by in front of each of its branches, a lot of people were on "waiting", which means many love the foods they serve. As soon as you go in, all the attendants will greet you こんにちは (pronounced as Konichiwa) which means, hello. A glass of water are served as soon as you're seated.

All attendants in all their branches are courteous with good costumer service. Prices might be a little expensive, but the foods are worth every penny.

I LOVE Tokyo Cafe! It's a Perfect place to go if you're looking for comfort foods.=)

Croque Monsieur P135
Pan-toasted butter bread with ham& mozzarella cheese filling with side salad
It's a must-try. Nothing really special but it's good enough to fill those hungry stomach.

Shrimp Aglio Olio P250
Medium-Spiced Pasta with hot green pepers, garlic and shrimp in olive oil
I'm not really a fan of spicy foods, but this tastes good.

Creamy Ebiko Pasta P268
the pasta dish is as mouth-watering. Presented humbly in a white plate, its flavor was more than what meets the eye. The rich, creamy pasta and shrimps perfectly complemented each other. The shrimps tossed about the pasta were remarkably generous, and they also tasted oh-so-fresh and scrumptious. This dish immediately became my favorite and I do recommend this as a must-try.

Fish Burger P180
Breaded fish fillet, lettuce, onion, and cheese in Kaiser Bun
I LOVE THIS BURGER SINCE I'm not into beef patty.

Chicken and Cheese Roll P258
Chicken fillet stuffed with mozzarella cheese, rolled in bread crumbs and deep fried to perfection.
Tokyo Cafe's Cordon Bleu Version! Perfect as starter!

Potato Salad P35
Basic Mashed Potato with Mayo
Yummy but tasteless.

Milk Oreo Smooges P128
Crushed Oreo cookies loaded in a milkshake

One word. PERFECT.
